Elf goodbye ideas for the last night

Goodbye is the December 24 beat. The doll leaves a note, the pose is the last one the kids will see in the house, and some families want a clip of a small wave before the doll is packed away. Elf AI Video treats that as a letter you can print today and a video you can join the list for. It works with your Elf on the Shelf® or any toy elf.

A letter that does not need a design degree

The letter tool fills a short note from the doll: who it is writing to, the doll's name, and whether the season felt calm or mischievous. You can print it from the browser. The name is not stored on the server. Use a first name only if you want the note to feel personal, and skip last names, schools, and addresses.

Pair the letter with a pose that photographs cleanly. A doll beside an envelope on the table is enough. A doll at the door with a paper scarf made from a napkin is enough. You do not need a miniature sleigh. The planned goodbye scene is a wave that ends in the same pose, and it opens after doll tests pass. The living-room scene is the one to select on the form in the meantime.

If the kids are old enough to read, a letter carries the goodbye even without a video. If they are not, the letter is still useful for you, as a script for what you say in the morning.

Dates, credits, and the last morning

Pick December 24 in the camera date list if that is the night you mean. There is no December 25 button. Christmas Day is outside this product's season on purpose. The overlay year follows the date you pick when a stamped download exists.

Packs are one-time credits, valid for the season window described in the terms, not a membership that renews in January. A goodbye plus one ordinary night plus an arrival is why a three-clip pack is on the price list for later. It is not on sale yet. Join the waitlist and we will email you once when clips can be bought.

Upload one photo of the doll and the room only. The doll can be on a shelf, a counter, the porch, or a dresser. Leave people out of the frame, including children, faces in the background, and reflections in a mirror or a TV. A general face detector also fires on a doll's painted face, so instead of guessing, the upload form asks you to confirm the photo shows only the doll and the room, and a video request without that confirmation is refused. Photos with people in them are not accepted.

Keep the doll fully in frame, with a little floor or shelf around it so it has somewhere to step. A lamp or tree lights that are already on are enough. You do not need a dark room, a tripod, or a special camera. Phone photos are fine. JPG, PNG, and WebP up to 5 MB work. Crop out doorbell-app buttons before you upload a porch screenshot.

The clip is meant to end with the doll back in that same pose, so the next morning the real doll and the video still match. The scene prompts ask the model to finish in the opening pose. Using your photo as the closing frame as well is the stronger fix, and we will only promise it once real test clips show it works.

After December 25

This site is seasonal. Search interest drops off after the holiday, and the honest plan is to leave the pages up, stop promoting checkout, and refresh examples next autumn. We will not invent off-season traffic stories. If you downloaded a letter or a coloring sheet, those files are already on your computer.

Support is support@elfaivideo.com, read by INERTIA PRIME LLC. Questions about a future order can wait until checkout exists. Questions about a photo you should not have uploaded can be sent now, and the privacy policy explains deletion.

The goodbye page is not a place for scary versions of the tradition. Prompts forbid extra people, extra heads, and horror lighting beyond an ordinary night camera. If a test clip looks wrong, it does not ship as a sample.
