Elf letter generator you can print
A letter from the doll is the piece many mornings need more than a video. This generator fills a short note from choices you make: arrival, an ordinary night, or goodbye, plus a first name and the doll's name. Print it and put it next to the pose. The text stays in your browser. It works with your Elf on the Shelf® or any toy elf.
What the note will and will not say
The templates talk about the doll watching the house and sitting in a new spot. They do not insult a child, list behavior from a school, or threaten to report anyone. Mischief, if you select it, means a harmless mess you already planned, like a towel cape, not damage. Nice means a quiet compliment with no personal data.
You should edit the printout if a line does not fit your family. The page is a starting note, not a required script. Do not add a home address, a teacher's name, or a last name before you print.
Goodbye letters point at December 24. Arrival letters point at the first morning. Ordinary letters fit the nights between. None of them claim a video is attached, because the video may still be on the waitlist.
Privacy of names
The form does not post the letter to the server. If you leave the page, the draft is gone unless you printed or copied it. That is intentional. A child's name is not a billing field and does not belong in a marketing database.
If you also join the video waitlist, that form sends only an email address, which is a different request. Do not paste the letter into the waitlist box.
The privacy policy describes account data for when checkout exists. This tool does not create an account.
Pair it with a photo, not a picture of the child
Upload one photo of the doll and the room only. The doll can be on a shelf, a counter, the porch, or a dresser. Leave people out of the frame, including children, faces in the background, and reflections in a mirror or a TV. A general face detector also fires on a doll's painted face, so instead of guessing, the upload form asks you to confirm the photo shows only the doll and the room, and a video request without that confirmation is refused. Photos with people in them are not accepted.
Keep the doll fully in frame, with a little floor or shelf around it so it has somewhere to step. A lamp or tree lights that are already on are enough. You do not need a dark room, a tripod, or a special camera. Phone photos are fine. JPG, PNG, and WebP up to 5 MB work. Crop out doorbell-app buttons before you upload a porch screenshot.
The clip is meant to end with the doll back in that same pose, so the next morning the real doll and the video still match. The scene prompts ask the model to finish in the opening pose. Using your photo as the closing frame as well is the stronger fix, and we will only promise it once real test clips show it works.
If you want the letter and a clip later, pose the doll with the letter visible, people out of frame, and keep that photo for the generator. The model is instructed not to draw extra text, so do not rely on the video to render the words on the page. The paper note is the readable copy. The video is the motion.
